The course is situated close to the shore of Lake of the Woods and offers beautiful views of the lake from the higher elevated holes. There is an abundance of wildlife on the course and whether it is a deer, bear or fox sighting, it will add to the total golf experience.
The course offers a challenging 18 holes. The terrain throughout the course varies from level to hilly. Mature trees outline the fairways and water comes into play on 7 holes.
The layout plays to a par 72 with a 126 slope rating from the back. Three sets of tees offer distances from 5206 to 6333 yards providing a challenge for all skill levels. Shots must be played accurately, since the changes in elevation require the player to make proper club selection.
A grass tee driving range, open daily, is available with buckets of balls available in the Pro Shop for a nominal charge. A practice putting green is located beside the clubhouse.
